Home News & Events Smallbrook Fifa league kicks off
The Smallbrook FIFA league is one week in and we have seen some serious skill and some things that can only be described as magical. The league has been set up to provide a fun atmosphere for staff and students to play against each other at breaktimes and see who reigns supreme. So far, after 2 games, Aston Villa are top of the league and are hoping that this stays the same. We have quite a few players who have never played before so it is important that we show great sportsmanship and we offer practice and support sessions for those players. Goal of the season has been scored by one of our year 8s with a blinding volley from about 20 yards out which screeched into the top corner. Next week, I can see the top spot being taken by Manchester United but Manchester City, Liverpool and even West Bromwich Albion are in it to win it. Shrewsbury Town however are struggling to find the flare needed to keep up with the elite! Stay tuned for next weeks update.
