📂 The Friday Folder: 22nd–26th June 📂

Another fantastic week of learning, creativity, and achievement at Smallbrook School! From STEM challenges and Ancient Egypt to digital media and wellbeing, our students have continued to impress us with their enthusiasm and resilience. 🌟

🏗️ KS2 STEM
Students tackled a Taskmaster-inspired tower challenge using only paper towel and tape. They showed excellent problem solving, resilience, and perseverance, with one impressive tower standing 13cm tall for the full 10 seconds!

🏺 KS2 History
Students explored Ancient Egypt by designing and building their own LEGO pyramids, using creativity while developing their historical understanding.

📚 English
Paper mâché projects encouraged creativity, teamwork, and independence, with students confidently seeking resources and support when needed.

đź’» ICT
Students continued exploring clear messaging in digital media, creating effective poster designs using colour, layout, and formatting to communicate their ideas.

🎨 Creative Learning
As part of Wellbeing Week, students explored summer colours through printmaking, creating colourful artwork while enjoying thoughtful group discussions.

đź“– Phonics
Students have grown in confidence with reading and spelling simple words, while comics and storytelling have helped build enthusiasm for reading and writing.

👏 Well Done Everyone!
We are incredibly proud of all our students for another week of hard work, creativity, and fantastic progress.
