Home News & Events World Wellbeing Week Day 1
Due to the hot weather, we had to cancel our planned end of day wellbeing activities. However, our students still enjoyed a range of wellbeing-focused activities throughout the day, helping us get World Wellbeing Week off to a fantastic start.
One of our students took part in our wellbeing photography challenge, capturing images of:
β’ Something beautiful
β’ Something colourful
β’ Someone helping
β’ Something that makes me smile
β’ A peaceful place
In English, students watched videos linked to the books they are currently studying before creating their own mindful pictures based on their moods and feelings.
Kindness was also on the menu today, with one of our students delivering drinks to staff and fellow students as a random act of kindness, spreading smiles around the school.
There was plenty of laughter too, as one of our students brightened everyone’s day by spreading some fun around school dressed as a chicken!
Despite the change of plans, it was a wonderful first day celebrating wellbeing, kindness and positive connections. We can’t wait to see what the rest of the week brings! ![]()
