Maths
Students explored geometric art and its links to mathematics through creative learning activities. They discovered the logarithmic spiral and practised drawing using coordinates. It was wonderful to see such excellent focus, attention to detail, and care throughout their work.
Barbering
Students developed their communication skills by discussing their desired outcomes with their teacher before receiving a hair service. They showed pride in their work and reflected positively on the experience, identifying areas they would like to improve next time and expressing enthusiasm to take part again.
Creative Learning
Creativity was flowing in Creative Learning this week as students worked together to make paper chains to create an octopus. They demonstrated patience, teamwork, and excellent fine motor skills while bringing their project to life.
Digital Media
Students became fashion designers in Digital Media, creating their own hoodie designs using Canva and PODpartner. They carefully considered the placement of images and graphics across different areas of the hoodie, showing creativity and thoughtful design skills.
KS2 STEM – NASA Buggy
Our KS2 engineers took on a Mars Rover challenge, selecting from a variety of STEM materials to design and build their own NASA-inspired buggies. Students demonstrated problem-solving skills, creativity, and determination as they explored engineering concepts through hands-on learning.
Well Done Everyone!
A huge well done to all our students for their hard work, creativity, and positive attitudes this week. We are incredibly proud of everything they have achieved!
