Smallbrook School celebrated this years Comic Reliefs Red Nose Day in ‘Smallbrook’ style, we all rocked the colour red for the day and took part in a whole school fun day. Staff and students enjoyed an afternoon playing inflatable games, which included a run bungee, penalty shoot out, inflatable axe throwing, basket ball hoop shooting and giant inflatable football darts.
A massive congratulations to one of our Key stage two students for gaining the highest points in darts and two of our upper school, students coming joint first for basketball. The school also held a Comic Relief themed bake sale where our catering students could showcase their creations, and a raffle was held where staff and students won prizes that included a huge home made chocolate cake that our amazing school cook created, restaurant vouchers and much more.
All staff and students kindly made donations towards the day, resulting in £220 being raised. Well done everyone for all their effort and support with this amazing event and a special thank you goes out to Zoe, the schools Personal Development lead and Jenny, schools Catering teacher for planning something extra special for our students. 🙂
