Hundreds raised in heroic head shave

One of our amazing year 10 students has ‘braved the shave’ to raise money for The Little Princess Trust.  The brave student also donated all of her hair to make wigs for children going through chemotherapy. Not only has she donated her hair, she has been sponsored by staff at home and at school and has raised around £400 for Cancer Research.  She has strong feelings about research into the causes of cancer and possible treatments and has told carers at Hope Cottage that ‘too many people are dying of cancer and I wanted to help to change things”. What an absolutely brilliant and brave thing to do.  The Little Princess Trust was set up in 2006 to help children and adults up to the age of 24 by providing wigs whilst they go through chemotherapy. Well done and we at Smallbrook School and Hope Cottage are so proud of you!Students have their hair shaved
