13th February 2026

Role up, Role up, come and grab your Smallbrook goodies :)

Today, some of our Enterprise students headed down to Wem Town Hall for our half-termly market stall. We sold a range of delicious homemade products, including apple chutney, chilli jams, three different flavours of hot sauce, pickled pears, Valentine’s chocolates, bracelets, bird boxes, feeders and wooden flowers—all made by our staff and students.

While there, we connected with several members of the community, including the Wem Town Clerk, to help expand our community project and build stronger links with the local area. The stall was a great success—thank you to everyone who supported us and made a purchase.

Students demonstrated excellent customer service skills, including communication, teamwork, handling money, and interacting confidently with members of the public. This activity supported their personal development by building confidence, social skills, independence, and real-world employability skills.
