Creation, Science and Some Dodgy Dinosaurs!

In RE, Year 8 have been exploring the creation of the universe and asking whether science is a friend or foe to religion.

Students examined both scientific theories including the Big Bang and Christian beliefs about how the universe began. They then debated whether they believe God created the Earth or if it all began with a bang. To finish, they took to the playground to bring their ideas to life with chalk, using incredible imagination and creativity. We even had a few dodgy dinosaur drawings in the mix!
