Home News & Events Up An At Em History Trip
This month the Humanities department planned for a group of students to attended Cockshutt Village hall, to listen to a talk from Jed, a Up An At Em historian. The talk and small re-enactment was based around the life of a WW1 and WW2 soldier. Students learnt what life was like for soldiers and the different equipment they needed throughout their time in the trenches. Students had the opportunity to dress up as soldiers and look at the variety of weapons used throughout this period. Some of our digital media students also attended to take pictures and videos for their current Media lessons. Every staff member and student had a great time, well done to all involved.
