Year seven students have recently started the topic Crime and Punishment in their History lessons, this trip allowed students to visit Adams Tower and Dungeons where they braved the dungeons and experience being in the stocks. Students got to explore how the castle was used during both the Tudor period and Stuarts and how in 1422 it was used as a prison. The art students who attended, visited the state room and observed the artwork displayed throughout the castle, which including looking at the vast military decoration. The year ten students observed how the gardens were rescued by Lady Margaret Myddelton after WW2. They spent some time completing one of the trails around the 480-acre parkland.
