Home News & Events Spring Term Field Trips
Throughout the Spring term in Humanities, some students have been working on the topics, weather and climate and crime and punishment. As a result of all the hard work done by the students, Zoe, our Humanities teacher, and Claire our science teacher planned two field trips out that linked with the topics covered.
Students had the opportunity to attend the Birmingham Botanical Gardens, where they had the chance to explore a variety of different plants in each climate zone. They visited the Japanese garden and wondered through the seasonal walks, meeting Barry the pigeon and a talking parrot along the way.
The second field trip out was to Warwick Castle, to see the famous castle dungeons. Students enjoyed exploring the castle grounds, watching the winter bird of prey show and completing the horrible histories maze challenge.
