New ICT Classroom

We are now offering students the chance to earn a BTEC in E-Sports. Children have the opportunity to play their favourite games such as Fortnite, Rocket League, Forza 5 and Fifa 23 on the new gaming pcs. The BTEC E-Sports features learning opportunities such as understanding business opportunities within E-Sports, designing their own E-Sports team, hosting a LAN event and designing their own merchandise. The children will be participating within their E-Sport lessons on gaming pcs running Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 graphic cards allowing them to host LAN events to the full potential viewing. The school also runs a lunchtime club in which the children can play from a range of appropriate PEGI rating games with their peers. Children within computing lessons also receive their education using the gaming pcs allowing everyone within the school the chance to use the room. All pcs include noise cancelling headphones which the children can use when working to assist them with their concentration if needed. The classroom is fitted with RGB lights which create a calming environment for the children to work.
