Beach Day
With the sun shining Smallbrook School invaded the Welsh seaside for two days of absolute fun in the sun!! To celebrate students successes over the year and also to acknowledge the end of the GCSE exams, students, school adults and carers were all invited and everyone jumped at the chance to play at the beach for the day.
We had paddle boards, buckets and spades, kites, volleyball and more. Once in the sea it was hard to get people out again. Come lunchtime everyone was back on the beach for a well needed rest with hot-dogs all round. With everyone replenished and full of energy again plus lots of sun cream lathered on, we all headed back out to the sea.
Students and adults had an amazing day. We played on paddleboards, built sandcastles, flew kites, became mermaids in the sand and laughed a lot together. Some great memories were made and lots of pictures taken as a reminder of beach day 2022.
