In KS2 Class 4, students spent the week learning about the significance of VE Day and why it means so much to so many. One student even decorated the classroom windows with beautiful pictures, and the whole class made poppies after looking at the inspiring poppy display at the Tower of London. Itโs been lovely to see how engaged and thoughtful all of our students have been when discussing such a pivotal world event.
At 12 noon, the whole school took part in a 2-minute silence to remember and reflect those who gave their life and those who survived. Our students were incredibly respectful throughout, showing real understanding and maturity throughout the whole day.
