Hello, my name is Lucy Wickstead, and I am the Family Liaison Officer at Smallbrook School.
My role is to provide pastoral support to parents and help with any issues that you may have in relation to supporting your child, both at home and in school.
I work to encourage parental communication and involvement within school, refer and signpost to agencies (where appropriate) and support your child from the very start of their journey with the school. I am part of the team that organises school visits for potential students and act as the main point of contact throughout a students transition into school. I have knowledge and access to several local and national agencies who may be able to provide support for you and your family.
I work closely with the SENCo and clinical team within Smallbrook, liaising with all school staff where necessary and appropriate in the best interests of the children and their families. Should you have a personal concern or school related issue concerning your child, I am here to offer support.
