✨ Smallbrook Students Shine at Derwen College! ✨

5 happy clients today at the college, our hair and Beauty students did Smallbrook proud!

Our Hair and Beauty department and two of their most promising students visited Derwen College today to help students with their prom hair and makeup. Our students welcomed their clients with open arms, communicating in a professional manner, even when communication was sometimes hard. They were patient, helpful and did such an amazing job in making the young people feel prom ready! 🙂

It was beautiful to witness how much each student had learnt and developed throughout the last year, demonstrating accurate techniques in styling, communicating appropriately and professionally and even being mindful of the most smallest, but most important of details, like sanitizing all products and tools used between each client. They ended the session by cleaning down and packing away after a hard days work 🙂

To say Terrie, our hair and beauty teacher, is emotional and extremely proud of these students is an absolute understatement.

They did such a good job that we have been asked back to offer our services for Derwens big theatre production and other planned events they have coming up. 😊
